Director of Fine Dining

The Director of Fine Dining directs the food and beverage offerings at our clubhouse fine dining venues including catering, special events, delivered meals and the dietary services for our 70-bed skilled nursing facility. Position responsibilities include hiring, training and supervision of all dining personnel; budget creation and management; procurement of supplies and equipment; and strict compliance with community policies and local, state and federal safety and health standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a food services professional with prior executive-level experience in a senior living community, country club, hotel or restaurant. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who would enjoy the challenge of creating a dining experience that exceeds the expectations of 400 Members with discriminating tastes and motivating 115 dining personnel.

Dietary Aide

Be part of the food team that makes sure our residents’ meals not only taste good, but are also good for them. Assist with preparing and serving food as well as cleaning equipment, utensils, and food service areas. You’ll enjoy getting to know our residents and they’ll certainly appreciate what you do for them. Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare resident trays according to instructions/order; employ proper food handling techniques in preparation of food and setting up/serving trays; deliver food, nourishment and supplies to nursing units or other areas as assigned

Health Center Line Cook

The Line Cook is responsible for the preparation of food at a Health Center setting, under the supervision of the Sous Chef. A Line Cook is responsible for determining the amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus and see that supplies are obtained from storage areas in adequate time for meal production, and plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that excellence, quality, temperature and appearance of food is preserved.

Qualifications include:

  • The Line Cook should have cooking experience in roasting, braising; sauté and grill a must, knowledge of soups, sauces are also required.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance is a necessary qualification for The Line Cook position. Some knowledge of nutrition and diet is a plus.
  • The Line Cook should have three to five years of experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, club, CCRC, or similar institution.

Health Center Cook

The Clubhouse Back Wait Staff is responsible for serving meals to Members in the casual, formal, bar, bistro and private dining rooms. Deliver meal to member’s homes. Assist in cleaning and resetting tables, pouring water and serving bread, provide support in the kitchen (stocking, running food, etc…), and breaking down trays at dish station. Previous experience in restaurant or retirement community food service preferred.

We are currently seeking part time, full time, and as needed Wait Staff employees.

The Clubhouse Wait Staff is responsible for serving meals to Members in the casual, formal, bar, and private dining rooms. Provides food and beverage items as required. Serves meals in the dining rooms in compliance with Member preferences and orders. Monitors reception of meals and offers substitute food items for those not deemed satisfactory by members. Stocks items in kitchen, dining rooms, wait stations, kitchen wait station, and break room as necessary. Demonstrates the skills and techniques of fine dining service. Runs food independently and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Maintenance Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a full time Maintenance Specialist. The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the physical plant. Successful candidates will be expected to work under supervisor direction, conduct preventative maintenance repairs, complete routine servicing and seasonal repairs, as well as changing building equipment, and work on plumbing repairs.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and a minimum of one year of maintenance experience. High school education or GED is also required. Electrical work experience preferred.

Plant Coordinator

Home Care On-Call Scheduler

Transport residents following routine scheduled shopping excursions and resident requested appointments. Keep vehicles in repair; observe safety regulations and requirements. Schedule routine preventive maintenance for vehicle. Deliver packages, flowers, mail etc. to Member homes.

Applicant must currently possess CDL to be considered and be able to communicate well with the senior population.

Applicant must also be very knowledgeable of the Chapel Hill/Durham area.
