We are currently recruiting for a full time Line Cook to join our Fine Dining team.
The Line Cook is responsible for the preparation of food in an a la carte setting under the supervision of the Sous Chef. Under the supervision of the Executive Chef and the Sous Chef, a Line Cook is responsible for determining the amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus and see that supplies are obtained from storage areas in adequate time for meal production, and plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that excellence, quality, temperature and appearance of food is preserved. . A Line Cook must be able to take direction from Lead Cook, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef as necessary.
We are currently seeking a full time Dishwasher for our Club House kitchen. Our Dishwashers are responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, but not limited to dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food and supplies.
This opening is primarily an evening shift with the exception of Sunday Brunch and/or special events.
We are currently seeking a creative, loving person with talent for conducting large and small group activities with the elderly. The Activities Assistant is responsible for assisting with the overall planning and implementation of a varied activity program designed to meet the physical, emotional, social, cognitive, recreational, education, community involvement and spiritual needs of Health Center members. One year experience in a social or recreational program in a licensed health care setting working with the elderly preferred. Background in music, art, drama, and dance therapy and activities coordinator certification a plus.
This position is full time at 30 hours a week. Every other weekend schedule is required.
We are currently seeking part time, full time, and as needed Back Waits to join our Fine Dining team.
The Club House Back Wait Staff is responsible for serving meals to Members in the casual, formal, bar, bistro and private dining rooms. Deliver meal to member’s homes. Assist in cleaning and resetting tables, pouring water and serving bread, provide support in the kitchen (stocking, running food, etc…), and breaking down trays at dish station. Previous experience in restaurant or retirement community food service preferred.

The Cedars of Chapel Hill has openings for a full time and part time Custodian.
The desired applicants must be able to drive company truck/golf carts throughout the community observing all traffic regulations, selected candidate must possess a Driver’s License. Must have basic knowledge of cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaners, vacuums, pressure washer, and others. This position also involves laundry responsibilities. Additional training will be provided to the selected candidates.
The hours for the full time position are Saturdays and Sunday from 6AM-2PM. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2:00PM – 9:00PM
The hours for the part time position are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7AM – 3:30 PM

The Club House Wait Staff is responsible for serving meals to Members in the casual, formal, bar, and private dining rooms. Provides food and beverage items as required. Serves meals in the dining rooms in compliance with Member preferences and orders. Monitors reception of meals and offers substitute food items for those not deemed satisfactory by members. Stocks items in kitchen, dining rooms, wait stations, kitchen wait station, and break room as necessary. Demonstrates the skills and techniques of fine dining service. Runs food independently and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to join our extraordinary Home Care Agency. Our CNAs are responsible for assisting the licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living.

We are currently recruiting for a part time Weekend Maintenance Specialist.
Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Saturday and Sunday.
The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the physical plant. Successful candidates will be expected to work undersupervisor direction, conduct preventative maintenance repairs, complete routine servicing and seasonal repairs, responds to emergency as well as change building equipment, and work on plumbing repairs.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a minimum of one year of maintenance experience.
High school education or GED is also required. Technical Schooling and/or background preferred.

The Host/Hostess is responsible for assisting the Assistant Dining Room Manager and Dining Room Manager with the overall operation, coordination, appearance and maintenance of the dining area and waitress station and ensuring that courteous and efficient services are delivered.

The Nurses Assistant assists the licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living. Responsible for daily cleanliness & sanitation of all assigned common areas, hallways, residential units, rest rooms, dining rooms, offices & furniture, etc., a high degree of customer service skills highly desirable.
