The Line Cook is responsible for the preparation of food in an a la carte setting under the supervision of the Sous Chef. Under the supervision of the Executive Chef and the Sous Chef, a Line Cook is responsible for determining the amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus and see that supplies are obtained from storage areas in adequate time for meal production, and plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that excellence, quality, temperature and appearance of food is preserved. . A Line Cook must be able to take direction from Lead Cook, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef as necessary.
The Cedars of Chapel Hill has an opening for a full time Custodian. The desired applicant must be able to drive company truck/golf carts throughout the community observing all traffic regulations, selected candidate must possess a Driver’s License. Must have basic knowledge of cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaners, vacuums, pressure washer, and others. This position also involves laundry responsibilities. Additional training will be provided to the selected candidate.
The Housekeeping Crew Leader is responsible for the cleanliness and neatness of assigned homes, villas, verandas and common areas and for special projects. Additionally the Crew Leader serves as the “go to person” if the Housekeeping Supervisor is out of the office, as well as supervises any additional projects assigned by Director of Facilities and/or Housekeeping Supervisor. The essential job functions includes: Performing general housekeeping duties in apartments/homes, such as: vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces. Performing general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed. Accomplishing all work in the order of priority as set by supervisor.
One year of experience as a Crew Leader, preferred. Applicants must possess strong customer service skills.

The Director is responsible for oversight of the admissions/transfer/and discharge process for our DuBose Health Center. The Director is responsible for coordinating resources, problem solving and building relationships with members (residents) and family members to ensure a successful transition to our 48 bed skilled health center. Additionally the Director will work closely with our wellness and healthcare team to ensure that the social, emotional and the general welfare needs of all members of our community are met.
BSW required; MSW a plus. Three to five years of experience working in long term care, post-acute care or a related health care setting and organizational or management experience with an interdisciplinary approach to care preferable.

Stocks items in kitchen, dining rooms, wait stations, kitchen wait station, and break room as necessary. Demonstrates the skills and techniques of fine dining service. Runs food independently and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
